So it appears people have actually been foolish enough to break the NDA of Warhammer Online. Apparently they felt safe doing it wherever it was that they chose to. Sucks for them, because it wasn't safe at all. A number of Beta Testers lost their Warhammer Online accounts recently due to breaking the NDA and talking about things they shouldn't have.

This is a good example of why you should abide by NDAs. Not just the game company is looking out for their interests - other players are as well - so even if you think you're in the clear to spread info - you probably aren't.

    In real life, well I mean in R&D job, spoiling stuff under an NDA can make you in big trouble, loose job, go in jail and even make some compagny close.

    People having the chance to see stuff before the other, have to keep in mind this is a privilege and they usually got a job to do. In the case of a closed beta, they should report bugs, be happy to be able to, and take a beer or two for the people who aren't in.

    Just shows that some people need to pick their friends out a wee bit better IMHO. Then again losing your access to a beta isn't the end of the world IMHO and hardly a punishment unless you're some hardcore fanboi with a hard on for a game in beta.

    Its funny how they are apparently using the ass lickers to their advantage. Not saying that its bad, but its an interesting approach.

    And I am pretty sure the number of people who report others for breaking the NDA for any MMO beta so far,that have won an account just because of that, is small (not speaking from first hand experience, btw)
