Want to get your hands on a Warhammer Beta account, but you can't wait for the application process? This is your chance; Games Workshop has several events over the next two months where you'll have ample opportunity to get ahold of a beta to EA Mythic's upcoming MMO based on the Warhammer franchise.

September 12th - 16th Games Workshop will be raffling off 50 beta cards. Each hour you'll have a chance to win and entering is easy; just show up at the Games Workshop Hobby Center.

Midnight October 12th - 14th Games Workshop will have Battle Bunkers located in Baltimore, Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles for the release of Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse. 100 beta cards will be given out over the course of the event.

    Indeed Rich. I believe GW is a British company and as far as I knew a British franchaise.. maybe EA are just being stingy misers or something. :'(

    I think you to would need to talk to GOA about being stingy, as far as I understand they are the ones responsible for WAR in Europe. Sorry you folks on the other side of the pond have been left high and dry once again. Cheers.

    yeah not tomention us poor Auusie and others in Asia pacific.

    Same shafting as wow looks like. its no wonder my many asians friends make there own servers when these compnies just dont give us loyal people a go down here. No servers no beta...at lwast wow gave us acces to test servers.

    Even if you do receive a WAR beta card, don't count on being able to actually play. My daughter & I both got cards at Origins 2007 at the beginning of July. After completing the online registration process, we've never received any further contact from EA to actually start the testing; all we get are their newsletters.

    If they can't be bothered to honor the cards, why give them in the first place? I guess we'll be sticking with World of Warcraft.
