It looks like patch 1.2 will be hitting the test server Tuesday, February
17th.
WarhammerAlliance.com gives us some details on exactly how to NOT miss out
on getting onto the test server and testing out the new patch! Checkout the
original post:
Patch 1.2 will be on the Public Test Server (PTS) tomorrow, February 17th.
This will be a “light” version of Patch 1.2, meaning it currently excludes the
Slayer and Choppa, but includes other changes reported in the patch notes. If
you’ve been dying to try out the new changes to your class, why wait? Test it
out, and make your voice heard—because Warhammer’s forums will also be opening
tomorrow in a beta form for discussion of 1.2. To make your forum account, you
need to put in your game account information, email, and create a forum
username. The forums will be up for 1.2 discussion only, so off-topic posts may
be moderated.
To get on the PTS server, you simply have to go into your Warhammer Online
folder and execute the test patch. To do this on Windows, go to “My Computer,”
double-click the C: drive, open “Program Files,” and open the folder entitled
“Warhammer Online.” You will then see an application called “testpatch.”
Double-click it and you’re on your way to patching glory!
You also need to transfer one of your already created characters to the Public
Test Server. In order to do this, go to the
Account Management Page
and click on “Character Transfer/Copy.” Select Character Copy so that it copies
onto the PTS.
This isn’t the only WAR treat this week. Wednesday evening at 8pm EST, Mythic is
looking for players to join two large guilds, one Order and one Destruction, to
test out the new guild features and to have some ORvR fun in Tier 4.
