WARDB Shows Off! Check Out the New Choppa and Slayer Career Builders!

WarhammerAlliance.com announced the WARDB Slayer Career Builder and Choppa Career Builder pages now available for use on WARDB. They have also a full Slayer Ability List and Choppa Abilities List available for your viewing pleasure!

Garthilk and our partners at Curse have updated WARDB with their first initial slew of new things for the 1.2 Patch.

Today you can check out the update to the Career Builder, which now has brand new entries for the Slayer and Choppa. For those of you who don't know, our Career Builders allow you to plan your character's path of advancement with an easy to use, visual interface and lots of tools!

WarhammerAlliance.com: Slayer and Choppa Write-Up Spotlights!

WarhammerAlliance.com has posted the results from last weeks request for the community to post some write-ups about the Slayer and Choppa classes on the PTS. The users who rose to the challenge will receive a special title on the forum and be able to post in a different color!

Last week I made a request to the WA community. That request was for all of you on the PTS forums to make me a short write-up about the Slayer or Choppa. After seeing several submissions--ranging from extremely narrative pieces to lists of class abilities--I have decided on one Slayer piece and one Choppa piece, with a special nomination Slayer piece.

Congratulations to the three winners:

SirRobin, for his humorous narrative on starting a Choppa.
Fisk, for his THREE posts on the Slayer class (here, here, and here ).
Celdiruen, the special Spotlight for taking the time to write all the Slayer abilities.

Thank you to everyone who submitted entries. Winners will receive the WAR General Title and have their names appear in teal (please give us a little time to make it happen! ). To view these great posts, click on their names--or in Fisk's case, on his three posts!

WarhammerAlliance.com Looking for Slayer/Choppa Information and Posts

WarhammerAlliance.com is currently looking for people who want to use their spare time between queue times to write about the new Slayer and Choppa classes. Authors who post in the forum will have a special "War-General" title appended to their forum name.

With the Slayer and Choppa being introduced in the PTS, we know that many of you are diligently sitting through the queues to get your hands on your favorite mohawked Dwarf or axe-wielding Greenskin. Although we could do the same, and do write-ups on these two new classes with just our opinions--what good is that? We want to see your opinions and use them to help us make a great piece about the Slayer and Choppa.

"Why should I take my precious PTS time to write about these classes?" you ask. Well, as an added incentive, every post that is Spotlighted in this initiative will receive the same benefit that we've added to our weekly Spotlights--your name will appear in Teal and you'll have the new title, "WAR General."

In this WAR there are many recruits and soldiers...but do you have what it takes to become a General? Post your reactions to these classes in the thread below, and find out!
