The Guild alliance tab in the WAR 1.01 client has a very buggy function for drawing members. You can easily see a number of errors generated on a 1.01 install if you have joined an alliance and open your guild window. This addon loads a replacement for the buggy function by pointing its function handle to a replacement in the AllianceTabFix.lua file. There are no toggles or settings; you just have to drop the folder into your addons directory and reload the UI for the fix.
CurseForge Project Page - submit to the Bug Ticket Tracker first!
This fix is also bundled with the Begone, Begone! addon. It's enabled without any need for a toggle.
The long name of the project is AllianceTabErrorsBegone and the shorter, more official name is AllianceTabFix. It is expected to be phased out of the Begone! suite if and when the core War.exe client is patched to fix the problem. The code for the bugfix is due all and entirely to Aiiane and is released under the MIT license.
Installation Guide
- Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
- Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".

That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
- Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder

Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
