  • About Branderic's Auction Ledger
  •

Auction Ledger aids the player by pricing auctions according to the last auction. If the item sold it is marked up. If the item expired it is marked down.

Features

  • Autofills the auction price based on the last auction. If the item sold it is marked up. If the item expired it is marked down.
  • Reads the player's mail to record the sale price of an auction or if it expired.
  • When an item is placed on auction the last several sales are shown to aid in pricing.
  • Supports MultiAuction. Quickly post multiple auctions using the Auction Ledger pricing scheme.

New In 1.0.4b.0

Slash Commands

/ahist <item>
Shows the last 5 auctions for an item
/markup <amount>
Sets the mark up amount, i.e. /markup 10
/markdown <amount>
Sets the mark down amount, i.e. /markdown 5

    This mod is a tremendous help in playing the market! Thanks. This is a very complete mod as is I hope to see you maybe expand on it some in time. :)

    If I may, I'd like to request some sort of permanent data collecting per item sold instead of a last 5 item history. Sort of how auction stats works, but based off what you have sold/bought.

    So for example (two ways to see this info):

    AuctionStats Style:
    I have an item in my backpack I can hover over (like AuctionStats) and see the lowest/average/highest min price set, buyout price set, actually sold for, and paid for it.

    nLootLink Style:
    I can click a button somewhere on the auction screen that pulls up a little search window, enter the name of the object, and the object if in the database returns all data as above about my selling/buying history of the item.

    Two mods that maintain databases similarly would be nLootLink and AuctionStats.

    Thanks a ton.

  • The display is limited to 5, but every sale is recorded.

  • I suppose I have one request. It would be nice if the stats for auctions on different servers wouldn't cross over. Different servers have different market prices, and it is unfortunate when the data from one server gets corrupted from data from another. Right now I'm running two different Warhammer installations to avoid the problem, but if there's another way to do this, I would greatly appreciate it.

  • Right now, this is working just fine for me. Just thought you should know :)

  • Hiya, nice mod thanks :) I was using it for a few weeks, then found problems with items in my pack so uninstalled all my auction mods. Now i have reinstalled them, yours works but.. it does not list the last listed results in my chat anymore and the /ahist command is not recognised (yep i have always had LibSlash installed) Any ideas please. Cheers!

  • Note: Auction Stats v2.0 does not work well with this mod, it overwrites this mods price values and it's markup/markdown features seem bugged to hell and back anyways and puts in stupid values. I've had to uninstall Auction Stats v2.0 until it is fixed.

  • We're both setting the same field so I'm not surprised. Have you tried MultiAuction?

  • Auction Ledger can't currently detect items that aren't bought out. Could that be the issue?

    Reply Report Permalink
  • For some sure, but for a few items that sold for min bid they weren't picked up either. Only 1(maybe 2) of about 15-20 items was registered as sold today, and that was Nourishing Loam which actually sold for the BO heh.

  • Wow, my reading comprehension failed. I have an idea as to why some aren't picked up when BO'd. But i need a few more BOs to test my theory out before i post why.

  • A lot of my auctions aren't being matched to the results email when they actually sell, latest example being Glowing Water. What can i do to help you track this issue down?

    Reply Report Permalink
  • Just had another issue, i was putting stuff up for auction and the item below sold v quick, so i went to put another up and instead of marking it up, it marked it down at a cheaper price.
    id = "0,342740",
    currentBid = 75280,
    auctionIDLowerNum = 342740,
    name = L"Teeming Peat",
    auctionIDHigherNum = 0,
    stackCount = 20,
    buyOutPrice = 150280,
    expired = true,
    startingBid = 75280,

  • My reply got lost it seems. Oh well here it is again ;p
    That was exactly the problem, it hadn't expired. It was a 72h auction, and it was when i tried to put the second one up around 10h later that the expired message appeared. The acution in question already had 1 bid on it, so maybe that had something todo with it?

  • If i have say 2 items which are both the same, in this example Enervating Huntscloaks and i put 1 up for auction it's fine, but if i add the other item to the window(albeit in this case it was a while later after i had had a bit on the initial one) it pops up a message saying it has expired.

  • If possible please post those two items from savedvariables.lua

  • Only one listed in the file atm:

    id = "0,317165",
    currentBid = 5327,
    auctionIDLowerNum = 317165,
    name = L"Enervating Huntscloak ",
    auctionIDHigherNum = 0,
    stackCount = 1,
    buyOutPrice = 10327,
    startingBid = 5327,
    expired = true,

    Reply Report Permalink
  • It looks like the first one expired, so when you put up the second one it showed you the price of the one that expired.
