About AutoBand
AutoBand is an automatic warband manager, it moves and swaps players in order to balance groups. Players are sorted into 4 categories: healers, tanks, mdps and rdps. In automatic mode AutoBand spreads players by their category across all groups evenly (balances group category ratio).
Starting from version 0.40 AutoBand supports warband templates! This allows a player to design custom warband templates for different situations.
AutoBand features an automatic offline kicker, players can specify a timeout value (i.e. how many minutes before kicking an offline player). For the impatient, AutoBand can also kick all offliners at once.
The addon can report all warband players which don't meet one of the following criteria:
- Player is offline
- Player is not in the warband leader's or assistants' zone
- Player doesn't meet the minimum level requirement (e.g. fort defense requires r37)
Usage
- /ab show Show AutoBand GUI
- /ab org Organize the warband with the default template (or automatic if no default template is set)
- /ab kickoff Kick all offline players
- /ab autokick Toggles automatic kick
- /ab info Show current settings
The list of commands is getting too big to post here, type /ab help to get the full list.
Requirements
To be able to organize your warband or kick players using AutoBand you need to be a Warband Leader or Warband Assistant (Not the main assist). As you might know there can be more than one Warband Assistant in a warband.
AutoBand can fail if a player which has to be moved or swapped leaves the warband, this cannot be avoided. A similar problem occurs if a player joins a group and takes an empty spot of a future move.
If you receive an error message saying that a move/swap could not be performed just apply the template again.
