Book of Grudges

The Book of Grudges saves the PvP/RvR events concerning your character. It show a message when you or your group kill an enemy (deathblows, revenges and vitories, kills by your group members), and show the history in a miniwindow with a tooltip per enemy to show statistic. A more complete Book of Grudges, inspired in the Tome of Knowledge will be soon available.

All this is very configurable in a complete settings window, accessible from the button on the right top corner of the mini window, or by typing "/bog settings" (use "/script BookOfGrudges.SettingsWindow.Toggle()" if you don't have LibSlash installed). The Book of Grudges is compatible with English, French, Spanish, Italian and German clients. (No translation in German yet, but the addon work). All your feedback on the functioning and the translation are welcome.

This addons is a similar but enhanced version of KillingBlow and LittleBlackBook. Thanks to their authors for the original idea and to Minifriend's for the original design of the mini window.

Known issues:

  • The enemies killed without giving any renown will not be saved or showed.
  • The BoG changes the font size of similar tooltips of the game.

We are actually working on these issues.

    I don't have any of the settings buttons (Okay, apply, reset, cancel) to save my settings. How can I fix that?

    I've got LibSlash installed and up-to-date, but "/bog settings" doesn't seem to work. The script command does, so for now, I just macroed that and put it on a hotbar.

    I love this addon for the text across the screen when your grp kills/your deathblow. One thing i would like to see is the name of the person in grp or whatever that got the deathblow on the kills that are not yours? :)

    IE instead of Your group killed Bob have it in say Joe killed Bob

    Is it possible to have the lists sorted by the number of Deathblows/Defeats/Victories instead of the most recent Deathblow/...?
    Such as a Top10 for each list.

    It's planed for the "book" version. We are working on it.

    The miniwindow actually is just here to give you the last of each, that you can see everytime, and when you want to see more informations, you'll open the actual Book of Grudges. It'll work like the quests on the ToK if you want. You can see some quests on the screen, but if you want to see all of them, or want more informations about one quest, you have to open the ToK ;)

    It's on the world map. Dezoom to the map where you see the T1->T4 for one race, and on the bottom-right of the map, you'll see the thing, and you just have to click on the button ;)

    For what I know, the game doesn't allow importing of textures, sounds, or anything. So the sounds are taken directly from the game.
    So we can't really modify it to add more quotes ;)

    The Grudge window has higher priority than the default windows (Character, Abilities, Guild, etc.), so it covers these windows when both are open. Is there a way to minimize the Grudge window's priority so it's always behind the default windows?

    Hi,

    The version 0.1.4 repair the bug in init process, tanks to all reporter. Please test it and send me a feedback.

    This version have a own Tooltip to not change default text only Tooltip of the game.

    I have been doing oRvR and SC's. I am on Vortex and live in the US. I thought I might've done somethign wrong during the set up process, but after reading the guide again, i know that is not the problem. I see the "Grudge" tab ingame and I can open the settings panel. It just doesn't seem to log Anything. This seems like a great mod, I hope it gets fixed soon!
