A combination of two small convenience addons.
Clicking on the microphone icon gives you two options: an automated countdown for helping coordinate pushes (particularly in keeps/fots), and a Teamspeak/Ventrilo information store.
Fort Countdown:
Allows you to set a countdown time and channel, and then perform countdowns at the click of a button.
Set custom Orders from the left-click menu, and you can choose between saved orders with a right-click on the CommManager icon. Orders can be deleted using the shift+right-click on the icon.
TS/Vent manager:
Allows you to input TS or Vent data, and save the connection information in WAR, for quick access when you need it. You can send this TS/Vent information to a channel of your choosing, with quick shortcuts for /p and /wb. Makes it a lot easier to keep track of guild and alliance voice communications, and to make sure your alliance warbands know where to connect.
IMPORTANT!
Players using previous versions of CommManager who experienced issues previously may continue to experience these problems. This is due to the previously broken version storing broken data. If you have this problem, try deleting all the CommManager settings before running WAR. I recommend you check if you have issues before deleting,a s only a subset of users will have this problem.
- Fixed a bug that could sometimes stop the Fort countdown part of the addon from loading.
- Added /a to shortcut list
- Compressed /p and /wb in to a single "smart" entry. /p will be replaced by /wb when you are in a Warband.
Saves custom orders
Change the last button on the fort countdown to now be a custom command. This can be set using the main menu.
Initialisation bug fix!
Added reminder labels to the TS/Vent shortcuts in the main menu
Saved data now available across characters. Added links to quickly save data.
Installation Guide
- Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
- Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
- Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
- Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
- WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
- WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Verify your WAR Installation Path
That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
- Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
- Start Warhammer Online
Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
