Built-in custom log for scenarios

daScore saves scenario results and enables you to view them later. It also supports custom logs for scenarios.


Built-in custom log

Default built-in custom log can currently show these stats (per person)
  • Your healing
  • Others healing you
  • Others damage to you
  • Others damage to you mitigated
  • Your damage
  • Your damage mitigated

Usage

You can open the addon from the scenario-queue-minimap-button.

Optional support for LibSlash

If you have LibSlash addon installed then you can also open the addon with command: :/dascore

Scoreboard users

If you were previously using my Scoreboard addon then you should look for that addons homepage for how you can import old scenario results to this one.

Localization

Only english combat log parsing currently available. Please contact me if you are interested to help me with localization.

Custom logs by other developers

Because this addon is this growing I have decided to post-pone this possibility until I've reached stable enough table structures. This is still major part of the design, but not usable just yet.

Issues

-This addon can't be used (yet) within scenarios because of the problems it might cause.
-Custom log importing not working yet.
-Name field cant be sorted.
-Scenario summary result's sidewindow anchoring.
-Built-in combat log parser might have small bugs.

    fixing my last comment, i just read what you said, but can u atleast make an independent button....sure /dascore works...but idk it's annoying to remember and easier to just click <3....idk if there's a way u can make a macro for addons to open either, cause i havn't been able to

    I wish to apologize to all the non-english players for not localizing this addon even as I was supposed to. I have been working on v3.0 for some time now, but it may or may not see daylight some day. If it ever does then it will work on all languages since I have a solution how to do it. But for now this addon feels itself limited...

    Hi, Can you please get your add on to work with the mini-map add-on CustomMap? Currently the right click on the pvp button doesn't function like it does on the normal mini-map IE: bringing up daScore list option doesn't work!

    This addon can be opened with command /dascore if you have LibSlash installed. So that mini-map button is not necessarily needed. And because of that, I'm not going to customize that button to work with any other addons that don't use the standard button.

    Bad news is that this works only with english client. Good news that I'm sure it could be localized and I would also like to do that.

    Zordak if you would like to help me to get it working with spanish client then please send me PM. I think it mainly involves translating few lines and also testing it with the client.

    I have a favour to ask from you, is it possible to add an extra feature that keeps track of win-loss-leave scenario records? I think a LOT of people will love to have an addon that does this. Or make a completely new addon based on this. OMG It'll be a dream come true for us who care more about winning scenarios then kill-death ratios.

    This kind of record is possible, but it's not something that I'm planning to implement. This addon is right now more about collecting player based stats in event level than high level statistics. You are of course able to see with this addon what the score was and who won/lost per scenario.

    Maybe try your luck with other addons which do just this kind of data collection?

    I believe scoreboard does a similar thing. Can you describe what differences these two addons might have?
    Also could you look at ScenarioStats and see if you could do an add on like that. It's a really amazing addon that alot of us use but has not been updated for over a month and thus does not work anymore. We really need an add on like that

    Well in Scoreboard the addon only saved the games default scenario statistics. But now in daScore, also a bunch of other custom statistic are created. Those screenshots should give you proper understanding what more you can get with this rather than the standard scenario results.

    So I took a look at ScenarioStats addon. Despite the fact that both addons deal with scenarios and stats, their goal is different. Scenario Stats displays one players (yours) total stats. Same info you can get from the standard results screen. DaScore displays one players (yours) stats per target player (=everybody in scenario). Guess the purpose of ScenarioStats is to display your own info in that nice little window instead of you have to open the main results screen all the time. Right now daScore's purpose is more to look what happened in the game after the game.

    I can see how adding that ScenarioStats type feature would be useful, but right now my goal is more to just enable that daScore big window in scenarios rather those very useful little ones.

    Oh no, you got me wrong. I completely understand how both addons are different and have different purposes. I was just hoping you could perhaps do a separate addon with a feature like that. Either that or just add an extra feature that does that because alot of people I know playing WAR used to use scenariostats and are very disappointed at the loss of it.

    Yes Scenariostats display our stats in a little window so we don't have to keep bringing up the scoreboard and you'll be surprised at how useful and convenient that can be monitoring your stats all the time.
