About AutoDismount

Automatically dismounts you when you use an ability on your mount. There are no commands just install and it works.

Installation Guide

Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
Verify your WAR Installation Path
That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start Warhammer Online

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

Would it be possible to get it to dismount when you give an order to your pet... I normally fire off my squig as my first action... also can you get it to remember the squig stance (not so important for me as I always leave it on passive, but people are asking for a way to do this.)

I've got some buggyness since the patch, occasionally it's not dismounting. I've only noticed it when I cast blessing of valaya in the live event sc. It hasn't mis-fired on any other cast on either of my two characters and has never misfired outside the live event sc; I'd test in the other sc's but I never get those ;)

It might be the weird bug when your client removes the buff but you stay mounted and forced to manually click your mount on the action bar to dismount. I have no idea how to fix this particular problem. Maybe it is packet-loss?

This has disappeared off of my find an addon on curse client, I can't download it automatically from the website, and if I manually download it does not appear to work in game. Was working last night, not working this morning.

hi love this add-on

on problem, after 1.2.1 I had to manually click dis-mount to get off my horse. Just like the poster below me described it.

The only temporary fix i know is when i did a /reloadui

=)

Doesn't work for me at all. Installed on a brand new install(and fully patched) of WAR and hitting an ability while on a horse does nothing but spam me with "This ability cannot be used while mounted". I still have to manually right click the mount buff or hit the mount hoykey to dismount.

Works on none of my characters and I do not have a referral mount, I have a normal mount. I have the latest version of auto-dismount too.

Tried it first with no mods and it didn't work. Installed Squared, SNT Info, and Phantom afterwards and they all work fine. It is only Auto Dismount that does not work. Had friend try it and it doesn't dismount them either. The error message appears in the combat log but it still doesn't dismount me either.

Just logged on and tested, works fine for me. Please check that the folder is in the right place, Auto Dismount shows in your mod list, and make sure its enabled. If all of that checks out, then do a /debug in chat, turn on logging, click reloadui, and tell me if there is an error regarding Auto Dismount and what it says.

haha it wasn't enabled >< WAR didn't do the popup saying it was disabled for some reason. Oh well, it works now. I'm an idiot :D

It seems the last update does not fix the referral mount issue. I did not have access to a referral mount to test or knew anyone at the time with one to test with.

These new referral mount skills are not named "Summon Mount" like the other mount skills; the Magus disc mounts are also named "Summon Mount". I used a command I built into AutoDismount that searches through all abilities for the name "Summon Mount" to see if a new one was added, there was, so I assumed that was the referral mount ability. Later, I found out that the Manticore one is actually named "Summon Manticore" and the Griffon named "Summon Griffon".

Yes I already have done that but after I do it the curse client says me that Autodismount isn't matching is database and stop automaticly patch AutoDismount.
It's the reason why I have done this request.
