Overview
DuffTimer Skin is a plugin for DuffTimer that allows you to define custom bar types, which change the appearance of DuffTimer's effect bars.
Requirements
You must be using DuffTimer v2.1.0 or later.
Usage
After installing DuffTimer Skin a new button will be placed on the DuffTimer options window in the general tab under advanced options. See the screenshot below. Click on that button to open the DuffTimer Skin window. In the skin window you will need to type in the name of a skin to create, click on new, then select your skin and load it. At that point you may edit it and use test to preview the new skin. Once you are satisfied click on save, and the skin will be available under bar type in the DuffTimer options window.
Limitations
- Dufftimer Skin does not override any options already available to DuffTimer. If an option already exists in DuffTimer, such as the bar texture, then it is not available in DuffTimer Skin.
Hints
- All of the fonts DuffTimer uses are 16-18 pixels high, keep this in mind when defining the Timer and Name heights.
- You will be able to scale the window in the layout editor, so getting the overall size right is not as important as the relative sizes.
- The bar and border elements will be set to the effect color, this is why they have no color attribute.
- The skin you create does not have to fit within the preview area. For instance, vertical bars often extend above and below it. This does not matter, they will work fine.
