EnemyTargetClass, find the class of your enemies!

Can now change color with /etcsetcolor r g b

REQUIRES LIBSLASH MOD Do not say it doesnt work if you do not have LIBSLASH installed.

Description:

This mod uses scenario data to display your enemy target's class in a small frame moveable from the layout editor. This data is not saved between sessions currently but if you encounter an enemy in RvR after meeting him in a scenario, it will display his class also.

You may also set your targets class with the slash command /etcsetclass XXX to set your targets class in the outside world.

Future Plans:

1) Store data between sessions. Could have done it now but want to make sure it is working correctly without any lag problems.

2) Add ways to gain data based on spells that hit you. IE: Fireball hits you, your target is a bright wizard. Useful for gathering data outside of scenarios.

3) Way to sync your saved data with other players.

    now mythic show the class as symbol everywhere, can you modify your addon to show the Text name over all player inside and out scenario pls? ;)

    great mod, one of my fav.
    Love to see a little UI for options allowing u to change colours (3RGB slide bars?), and have it work on mouse over. (actually i be honest i have not notice it work on mouse over, soryr if it already does)

    For those of you who like this mod I have added it's functionality to ktHealer (http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/kthealer.aspx)-- You can't change the colors & I probably wont add that feature, but each class type will have it's own color when I get done. kthealer also reports what target type it is (Tank, Healer, R-DPS or M-DPS).

    Tried 0 0 0 and font did turn black. Would like it to be white.

    I love this addon.

    I'm just posting a request to add in friendly players as well. I know it's not NEEDED, because there's other ways to figure it out -- but it'd be handy nonetheless.

    Awesome mod, really appreciate it.

    My suggestion is allowing per class or per archetype coloring; mainly I want to be able to tell via color recognition that I'm targeting a tank, melee DPS, ranged DPS, or healer.

    Hmm Cajuninms not sure. I just opened the lua file with notepad did a search for chatwindow and changed each one saved it and it worked.

  • This is broken as of the 1.01 patch. The 'ChatWindow' global was changed to 'EA_ChatWindow'. You can get this mod to work again by opening the "EnemyTargetClass.lua" file, and replacing all occurrences of 'ChatWindow' with 'EA_ChatWindow'.

    Great mod. Not sure if the sct I am using affects this, but the text size is very small. How can I enlarge it? Looked at the lua a bit, saw color and such, but nothing I could tie to a font size.

    I do not see anything nad yes, libslash ist installed in the latest version. I can see the window in ui modification mode. But I see nothing in game when I target an enemy. Am I missing anything? Btw. I am using the german client.
