EZCraftX
EZCraftX makes crafting easier by offering all possible items for a given crafting slot within a context menu sorted by level and colored by rarity - simply click the crafting slot and choose the item to use from the context menu.
Talisman Crafting Preview
- when crafting a talisman you get the option of showing an additional preview window that will show the results possible (regular result, normal crit, awesome crit) and the crit chance for the recipe you are currently putting together
- whenever you change an ingredient (container, fragment, gold, curiosity or magic essence) the preview will adjust the resulting values
Talisman Crafting Power Preview
- when crafting a talisman you get the option of showing the internal numbers for power added to the recipe by an ingredient and total power added by all ingredients
- whenever you change an ingredient (container, fragment, gold, curiosity or magic essence) the preview will adjust the values
You can always use /ecx for options. (LibSlash required)
Feel free to add comments or make suggestions to further improve this addon.
Upcoming Features
The next release will fix the following minor bugs:
- the Good result will now show the correct stat value when the base power plus the crit add exceeds the maximum power based on the rarity of the fragment
- the Awesome result will now show the correct color for the header when using a purple fragment
The following features are in beta testing stage:
- Talisman Crafting Alert
- this will allow you to set up talisman outcomes (e.g.: +23 STR) that you would like to get an alert for
- as soon as you have the ingredients for any outcome in your backpacks or bank you will be notified by EZCraftX
- you can craft the recipe with one single click automatically or preview it first in the talisman making window if all items are in your backpack (if some are in the bank, you will have to get them first)
The following features are in the queue:
- make crafting preview available for pharmacy
- make crafting alert available for pharmacy
- offer possibility to also show internal numbers for the preview:
- Pharmacy: resulting power, duration, multiplier, stability
- use inventory/bank of all chars on a server/realm to show possible crafting results
Beta testers wanted
To reduce the risk of too many bugs in release versions I would be very happy if a few beta testers would test what I have been programming before I make an official release.
To become a beta tester you should meet the following:
- be willing to spend some of your time (it won't be very much)
- play WAR on a regular basis (1-2 times a week minimum for several hours - sometime between 1800 and midnight GMT)
- craft items more than once a playday (meaning: you do not craft for a living but you know how to get the good stuff crafted)
- now a little bit about crafting recipes and their results (to check the numbers that EZCraftX will show)
- know how to use /debug in WAR
- speak either fluent german or english up to where someone can understand you :)
- use TS or Skype (for communication)
- a plus would be someone playing on Erengrad :)
If you would like to assist a little bit feel free to send me a message here on curse.

Installation Guide
- Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
- Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
- Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
- Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
- WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
- WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Verify your WAR Installation Path
That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
- Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
- Start Warhammer Online
Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
