Displays a dot that moves left-to-right to indicate the global cooldown, and hides when GCD is not active.
NOTE: From 0.2.3-beta, it now uses Bar 1 Button 1 by default, and aligns it with the castbar. Feel free to change these later using the script commands below.
GCDPulse obtains the information about the GCD in a similar way to GCDisplay, in that it needs to check an action button. You can change the button it checks by typing these commands into the chat window:
/script GCDPulse.Settings.bar = <number>
/script GCDPulse.Settings.button = <number>
From v1.0.0, there is a configuration UI which is accessible by typing
/gcdpulse
if you have LibSlash, or if you don't, then use
/script GCDPulse.OpenConfig()
If you prefer using /script commands to configure, then read on.
By default, GCDPulse will be aligned to the bottom of your castbar. You can use the Layout Editor to move it wherever you like, and resize it horizontally. If you want to easily place it under the castbar again, you can use:
/script GCDPulse.MoveToCastbar()
To hide/show the little dots that mark the start/end (i.e. the "caps"), use:
/script GCDPulse.SetCapsShowing(false)
/script GCDPulse.SetCapsShowing(true)
To change the tint colour of the background, caps, or pulse, use the following commands, where "red", "green" and "blue" are numbers from 0 to 255:
/script GCDPulse.SetBackgroundTint(red, green, blue)
/script GCDPulse.SetCapsTint(red, green, blue)
/script GCDPulse.SetPulseTint(red, green, blue)
To change how transparent/opaque the background bar is, you can use the following command, where "alpha" is a value from 0 (completely transparent) to 1.0 (completely opaque):
/script GCDPulse.SetBackgroundAlpha(alpha)
