  • About GuildWarden
  •

GuildWarden tracks and shares your Armour Set and Ward (sigil) unlocks with other members of your guild who also have the addon installed. You can search and filter the database to find people for instance groups, or just to see what your fellow guild-mates have. (Handy note: shift-clicking a class filter is equivalent to clicking the other 11 class filters)

The unlabelled number in the database listing indicates the "handedness" of the data - ie how many people it has gone through to reach you. A 0 indicates your data, a 1 is first-hand data from another player. A 2 would indicate that you haven't seen the player online since their data updated, but that another player forwarded the info on to you. Higher numbers indicate longer chains of forwards in this manner.

This is a great and must have addon. I only wish there were an option to expand it to my alliance.

I'm very fond of this add-on, and have gotten quite a few in my guild to use it, but there's one ting I'd like to see added.

Can you make it so it saves the filter when reloading ui or logging out, I hate having to set the filter to hide all <30's every time I log in.

I really have no idea how to use this addon, it needs more instructions although it looks awesome...Please tell how to figure out how many wards people have other than urself.

They need to be using GuildWarden as well, and they must be in your guild.
As long as these two criteria are met, they will start showing up in your GuildWarden window automatically.

Great addon. One problem I have is with multiple characters in the same guild, they have different databases so I only see certain guild members depending on who I am logged in with. Could the database be put in the global folder?

It could be, but that would cause issues if you had alts in different guilds. Other people in your guild should pass the info back to you, so it shouldn't really matter.

    Could you be more specific?
What happens when you open up the database form? Do you have any filters on that might be blocking them, or have you go it set to "Battlegroup Only" when not in a group?

Heya looks cool, but would it be possible to show the lockout timers of those searched as well?

That is an interesting idea, although not straight forward due to the way data has to be shared (since lockout timers are not as static as unlocks).
I will look in to it, it may be possible to give some sort of approximate timer, but it may not (I haven't used that part of the API, who knows what sort of quirks lie there).

I'll sort out some documentation (curse was being weird over the weekend). To asnwer these specifics:
    a) BRB = Bilerot Burrows (I should fix some of the Order localisation, this is Warpblade?). The filters with (set) mean that the person does not need to armour for the ward, just for the set completion. In this case, the dont have teh Sentinel pieces from teh instance, they do have the Greater Wards though.
    b) You could add Alliance, it would get really really cumbersom to update though (and you'd get chat throttled a lot). Also, you can't really check if someone is still in your alliance, as you can't see other guilds roster.
    c) Tyrant is already in there (Vulture Lord). I might add the low level sets if there is a lot of demand, but it doesn't seem so important.

    Absolutely outstanding Mod. Love it.

    Just a few things.
    A) noob question but what is the BRB (set)
    B) Possible to add alliance/friend list support?
    C) addition of Vulture Lord/Sarcellum Dungeon/Gunbad sets.

Thank you for a superb addon
