About HideActionBarTooltips

This addon is now available in two different versions.

Basic Version (1.0):Always hides skills, macros and item tooltips in your action bars.

Extended Version (2.0):
Hides the following tooltips only if your action bars are locked:
- skills, macros and item tooltips in your action bars
- morale tooltips in your morale bar
- tooltips in your career window (e.g. pet controll)

Installation Guide

Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
Verify your WAR Installation Path
That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start Warhammer Online

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

That would still result in tooltips beeing shown when you want to attack a target.
Without implementing customizable options I don't think this kind of changes make sense.

Did you check out the 2.0b (Beta) version? I think it solves the "problem" in a much better way.

i changed the code of ur addon for me, i do not found useful the option lock/unlock to see tooltips, naturally it's my opinion, so i made this...

Version 2.0 is in development.

Changes:
- Action bar tooltips are only hidden if they are locked.
- Morale tooltips will be hidden too.

I'm using a customized version of Moth together with MoveTip and got annoyed by those large skill tooltips, especially in PvP. Since the default options only allow to disable ALL tooltips (including the item tooltips and tooltips in your skill window) I came up with the idea of this small addon.

I was aware of the script function to hide them, but I was getting sick of having to mash it on each log in.

I think it's completely retarded that hiding the tooltips in the game options hides everything...items, drops, loot, map tooltips, it's just ridiculous.
