ISSelfCast is an addon that allows a user to specify a modifer, such as the alt key, to use when they cast a spell that tells the game to cast it on the player themselves.
Using ISSelfCast is as simple as holding down your selected modifier key when you press the button with your mouse. It will target you to cast the spell and then restore your previous target.
ISSelfCast requires the LibSlash addon to work.
- Setting Options: All options are specific to each character
- /isselfcast
spits out info message on commands
- /isselfcast set modifier alt|shift|ctrl
sets the modifier key
- /isselfcast set debug on|off
turns debug messages on or off
- /isselfcast on|off
turns the addon on or off
- /isselfcast print
prints out the current options and their values
- It is not possible in the API to target an NPC. If you have a friendly NPC targeted and attempt to self cast, the addon cannot restore your NPC target. It will leave your hostile target untouched.
- Currently, ISSelfCast only works for abilities that you click on with your mouse. Support for keypresses will be coming in a later version.
