MoraleSet

MoraleSet provides an intuitive and easy-to-use way to organize your morale abilities.

It works almost identical to tactic sets: By clicking the button you can choose which set to use. If you equip new or different morale abilities, the currently active set gets updated automatically.

Additionally, you can "link" your morale sets to your tactic sets. That means that whenever you switch tactics, your morale abilities will be switched as well, no extra clicking involved.

Note: When you use this addon for the first time, the button will appear in the top left corner of the screen. Use the Layout Editor to move it.

    nevertheless i've got an error to report:
    the position of the moraleset button resets after every restart of the game and moves back to the top left corner, which i find quite annoying.
    would be nice, if you could fix it some time soon.
    besides that, as already said:
    GREAT WORK!

    I still use this mod, tho it's obviously no longer getting updates.
    A guildmate went through the trouble to edit the code to allow the window to remember its position, you can edit the XML file under "...interface\AddOns\MoraleSet\Source" with notepad.
    In the file find:
    <Window name="MoraleEditor" movable="false">
    Make it read like this:
    <Window name="MoraleEditor" movable="false" savesettings="true">

    I am really happy to see this addon, and can't wait to install it tonight. From what I see, it works great.

    Just a community request though, I would like to see some slash commands implemented. I have hotbuttoned macros that allow me to change between sets of gear & tactics for whether I am healing or soloing or RvRing. I would love the ability to add this addon into the mix. Thanks for your work already, great idea for a great addon!

    Assuming whatever addon you use to switch tactics is playing nice morales should switch automatically if they're linked.
    Otherwise you can use /script MoraleSet.OnSetMenuSelectionChanged(setNumber) to change the set.

    Nevermind. I commented before seeing ingame. Thought it had 1-4 slots visible ala Tactics. (Not a bad idea in and of itself... and then... then /vertical!) Nice mod.

    If you plan to enhance it someday, here's a suggestion for a additional feature...

    I would love to see MoraleSet being able to switch to a predefined tactic/morale sets on entering specific zones, like scenarios, rvr-zones or certain instances.

    Awesome thanks that helped. For some reason the MoraleSet icon was way up in the upper left corner next to my portrait. I was able to locate it in the windows list and then search the screen for it once I knew it was there.

    When you click "Customize UI" and open the "Windows" list, does MoraleSet appear in there? If yes, make sure it's not hidden.

    If that doesn't help try to delete the folder user/interface/AllCharacters/MoraleSet.
    That should reset it in case the window ended up somewhere off-screen or the mod was disabled for whatever reason.

    Same problem as well. As for other addons, I only have LibSlash, Action Bar Color, Buff Throttle and wsct installed other than this one.

    It's very possible I missed the obvious Silverq. I'll double check and look for a button on the moral toolbar itself, at the top left corner of said moral bar.

    I've installed the MoralSet 1.0 addon. Installed the newest version of LibSlash (post patch of Oct 2nd) I can't seem to access the Moral Set functionality?

    Is there a / command i need to type to enable it? I checked my list of addons with /addon and it shows as enabled. I hover my mouse over the moral abilities control/circlethingy and see nothing. Tried clicking on it, right clicking (just removes the moral power) alt clicking etc no luck.

    I think somehow I'm missing something as no one else has posted any issues with setting it up. I mostly want this to link it to my tactics sets which would be great! That shoulda been a basic function in the game as is.

    Either way thanks for the hard work, I hope to hear back with what I'm doing wrong.

    It doesn't have any slash commands, you don't have to enable it. If it loads correctly there should be a button in the top left corner. It looks exactly like the tactics set button.
    If it's loaded and enabled as you say and the button doesn't show then there has to be a conflict with another addon, although I don't know how there could be.
