nLootLink is a browseable, searchable database of every item that you come across in game. The database is initially empty, however it will fill up quickly as you encounter items via player inspection, auction house, guild bank, quests, stores etc. Other nLootLink users on your realm will automatically share their data with you via a hidden chat channel.
This addon's functionality was inspired by the excellent Lootlink and Ludwig WOW addons, by Telo and Tuller.
Usage
Click the FSM on the menu bar or use a slash command: /ll /nll /lootlink /nlootlink
Shift click an icon in the browser to link it in chat.
Sample Database
This database contains 25373 items and can be installed as follows:
- Run WAR once with nLootLink installed, to create the nLootLink directories
- Quit WAR.
- Download SavedVariables.lua from http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?xcen21zq4mw and save to war/user/settings/GLOBAL/nLootLink
Thanks go to Copperbeards, who has collected and contributed much of this data.
Other Addons
nRarity shows the fancy rarity colours on the icon borders.
Limitations
Loading Delay
The database is stored in a compressed format, so it unpacks after the game is loaded. This takes around 15 seconds, depending on the size of your database and speed of your system. Until the database is unpacked, nLootLink is not usable.
Other Players Can't See Some Of My Links
If they don't have nLootLink, they probably won't be able to see the item, as it's not in the game's "local cache" of items seen. There's nothing I can do about that. Tell them to get nLootLink!
If they have nLootLink, there will be a delay of up to 3 seconds before they can see the item, as your nLootLink needs to tell their nLootLink about the item, via the hidden channel.
Problems
Please use the Ticket System to request enhancements or report any problems that you encounter.
Localisation
Please assist with localisation for the following: frFR, itIT, jaJP, koKR, ruRU, zhCN, esES
The localisation project is here: http://war.curseforge.com/projects/nlootlink/localization/

Installation Guide
- Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
- Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
- Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
- Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
- WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
- WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Verify your WAR Installation Path
That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
- Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
- Start Warhammer Online
Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
