Version 1.5.3
Re-Wrote some of the comms code which silences the comms channel in chat windows. NobCom will now automatically silence the comms channel for up to 30 chat windows/tabs. In some cases, before using 1.5.3, you'll have to manually filter the comms channel from the chat window/tab.
Added comms code for node/waypoint assignment to forces. Now when you assign forces to a selected node or move a node with forces already assigned to it, all forces reporting to you will recieve the new orders.
Added a sweet arse beacon animation for nodes/waypoints which makes it obvious to see where you have placed these points on the map.
Increased the broadcast rate of packets to every 2 seconds. Positional updates to your leaders is now once every 3 seconds instead of every 10. Forces on maps will now appear to move smoother as a result.
Players who have DC'd or reloaded their UIs now broadcast a reset signal to any forces that were connected to them. The previously connected forces will automatically reconnect to the commander.
Players who have DC'd and attempt to reconnect to their commander will now allow reconnections as long as their force name was the same as before.
Added more comprehensive Session controls and status labels. Use the Connect button to establish a connection with your commander after you have set up your session details. If you leave Report To or Force Name blank, clicking Connect will do nothing. The status label indicates session progress. It either indicates Disconnected, Connecting... or Connected. The function and text of the Connect button changes depending on your session connection state.
To make something clear about connecting to commanders, connecting to and communicating with them is a constant background process. Your commander will not know if you are connected unless you move into a contested tier 4 zone. At this point, the commander will see your force listed in the box and the animating map icon to show your position. When you connect to a commander, the current map you are viewing or the zone you are in doesn't mean you are signing up just for that zone.
Still much more work to be done.
