About no Overheal

A little tool to prevent overhealing.
If your healtarget get over 99% health, and you are healing it, NoOverheal
will cancel your spell.

NoOverheal slashcommands:
/noo on - switch noOverheal on
/noo off - switch noOverheal off
/noo lock - lock addon window
/noo unlock - unlock addon window

Ein kleines Tool um überheilung zu verhindern.
Wenn dein Heilziel über 99% leben kommt, und du es gerade heilst, wird NoOverheal
den Heilspruch abbrechen.

NoOverheal Slashbefehle:
/noo on - Schaltet noOverheal ein
/noo off - Schaltet noOverheal aus
/noo lock - Fixiert das Addon Fenster
/noo unlock - Addon Fenster frei verschiebbar

Installation Guide

Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
Verify your WAR Installation Path
That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start Warhammer Online

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

its possible to set which spell can or not heal the pg.

cause i prefere use dot heal on pg also when he os on 100% or 99% and not use large casting heals.

To remove text spam, just edit the NoOverheal.lua file and remove the line:
EA_ChatWindow.Print(NoOverheal.PREVENT..NoOverheal.curHealName); -- Chatmitteilung ausgeben.

I think this also might be good for what I'm looking for if there was a toggle so that you could put hots on it if you wanted to preheal.
With my current setup I have used Healgrid as well as Squared and If I click on a char and he is out of range/sight the heal lands on me waisting time and AP.
If this acts as I think it will then if the heal is going to default on me then it would cancel unless I have taken damage. Is this right?

If my target dies, the next heal (or moral-abillity) is wasted on me. So could it be possible to add something that if my friendly target dies, I keep this target untill I choose another?

I accumulated 26mb of that error in the uilog.log file before my client finally crashed. :\

Sobald das Ziel über 99% Leben wird der Spruch abgebrochen.
Dabei spielt es keine Rolle wie lange der Heilspruch schon am laufen war.
Möchtest du eine Option das der Spruch erst am Ende der Zauberzeit abgebrochen wird, um eine art Vorhalteheilung zu betreiben ? Oder warum fragst du ? :)

Sorry I just don't see the point in this mod and think it's more for WoW, "overhealing" becomes prehealing which healers SHOULD be doing

Right. Warhammer is more a "hot" then a heal game. But i am colorblind, and sometimes its impossible for me to see the full "green" healthbar over the Background.
And a GM told me to search for an addon! to help me.(tripple lol)
But there was no addon. now it is. That's the point "you" can't "see" (if you are not colorblind)

If you have trouble seeing the original colors I would recommend using Squared or Healgrid. You can set your own colors with them, should help you alot.
