Installation Guide

Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
  - Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
  - WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
  - WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
Verify your WAR Installation Path
That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
Start Warhammer Online

Translations

When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".

Don't use PBKeySwitcher. It appears to have rewritten the phracking code, so that my hotbar no longer has keys 1-6, even with the mod disabled and removed from the addon folder.

Would love to see an update of this, sadly, if I leave it installed, it causes the game to crash any time I log to character select, or try to update may active addons with libslash.

Wow, this is an addon that all SM/BO should never be without! At first when I started my SM, I thought it was going to be hard with the stances and stuff, but with this, things are SOO much easier. I don't know what I would do without planb!

I have been having a wierd bug when ever I log in with any character. My hotbars are in a wacky place, at top left of screen all jumbled up. I have to /reloadui to address the problem everytime I load a character. Anyone else having this problem?

Seems to be a few issues with PlanB on the test server. Response time is a little laggy and tends to hang here and there.

After patch 1.1, when I use Improve Balance (Bar 2), sometimes the bar jumps back to Normal Balance (Bar 1). Anyone got this too?

This is an amazing add-on, but unfortunately I've got a problem :(

I've put my abilities on page 1,2 and 3.
So far so good,
On hotbar 2 and 3 pages 4 and 5 I've got all my other stuff like Taunt etcpp.
The problem now is, when I'm relogging I've got page 2 and 3 on hotbar 2 and 3, but I want pages 4 and 5 on that hotbars.
Is there any chance to change this?

Let me make sure I gottcha first, I think you have the same annoyance as I have.

That is your problem too right?

This is an issue with the default UI. I should be able to program "around" this issue so I will open a ticket on planb for it (But, I am very busy with another mod and my Wedding and Christmas so the change, sorry, won't be forthcoming quickly).
