    Hi!

    First of all, great Mod!

One question. Is there a way to remove those crosslines from the Eve-Template? I definitely like the square around the enemy, but the lines annoy me a little. Unfortunately I have´nt found a way to turn them off.

    Thanks in advance

    Last update war again great!:-)
    I have some new ideas:

    1. Add guild name to enemy target
    2. Add Ward type for dungeon mobs.
    3. Add some Cooldown pulse (like as Wikkis Cooldown Pulse) to the center of EVE crosshair instead carrier icon. Its will be rly cool when pulse will move with crosshair because eyes are centered there everytime in fight - better CD control. Rly pls make this awesome thing:-)

    Hi Roz,

Sorry for late reply :) About your suggestions and ideas:
    1. I am afraid that is not possible, will check a bit careful later
    2. Will see what i can do with the wards.
    3. Not sure about that. I have a new HUGE (and must have) addon in a list after the RV Mod Manager release, so I have no time to implement that.

PS. developing is moving much slower now. ANd it will become worse since I found a new job and have to spend most of my free time in the office. Will see that can I do tho. ;)

I have the same issue. Mod Manager window is completely blank, and I cannot change the target reticle options or anything.

    http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/natural/78f097f9616bc224ba68c587b08bb89e8894f3ac.png

That is a picture of the relevant debug error message, but not sure what it means or how to fix it.

Ok here is situation. This could not fixed in a quick way (replacing a code with another).

To get access to the addons settings try the following:
    1. Close the RV_Mods Manager window. Call "/script RV_ModManager.OnInterfaceReloaded()" in your chat window. This will recollect all available addons. Open RV_Mods Manager window to see result. I am 80% sure that should help. If that would not help try the second step.
    2. The second way is to force showing addon settings. At this time open the RV_Mods Manager window. Call "/script RVMOD_Targets.ShowModuleSettings({name="RV_ModManagerWindowModuleInformation"})". RVMOD_Targets settings should appear at its usual position.

PS. You have to run this script everytime you run the game or do the /reloadui command. I advice you to bind the script command and use it until the next release. Unfortunately fixing that wont be cheap in time. I have to modify and change the collecting addons logic.

Please reply for any success or failure :)

Thank you. The second one was what fixed it for me. Made a macro, and now it works just fine.

    Success :D

  • After installing the latest version available for Jan. 5, 2010 (which is v0.98 Pre-Release), I get a blank Mod Manager window where you are able to change many of the various variables of this addon.

Thus, most of this mod's in game settings are unavailable to me since I have no way to access its many settings.

Does this mod conflict with other mods that you know of? Or is this simply a bug?

  • After some further testing I have come to find out that this mod (the mod manager) does conflict with one or more of my other mods, I'll post back once I have figured out which specific one or combination of mods causes this issue.

    Hi Darkstar385,

Its sounds like a RV Mods Manager bug. I can not remember anything inside could conflict with other addons.
You can check for addon errors easily by oppening /debug window. Watch for any RED and YELLOW messages which belongs to RV addons and post it back here too.

    Thank you :)

  • Just curious about this mod's preference panel... What are the three items named "Entities API", Frames API", and "Target API"? When I click on those items on the left hand side of the screen, nothing happens. Is this the way it is supposed to behave? Or are theire configurable options that are supposed to be there but aren't for whatever reason?

The mod seems to be working correctly during game play. It's only this options screen thing that seems odd to me. Just curious.

    Hi charleslaine, :)

Yes that works fine. Every addon can have its options or non like in the Entities, Frames, and Target.
I know it looks a bit confusing atm, but the RV Mods Manager final version will show "no settings" panel.

    Thanks for comment ;)

    Hi roz,

Sorry for late reply. I saw your post 5 days ago, just forgot to answer. My bad.

    Ok here is the trick:
    1. Open the RVF_Modern.xml file
    2. Find the "<Window name="$parentBar" inherits="RVF_ModernVerticalBarTemplate">" line
    3. You point of interest is the next line "<AbsPoint x="10" y="180" />"
    4. Change it to the "<AbsPoint x="1" y="180" />"

Use it at your own risk. You could get an issue then health bar just disappears.

  • I'm sorry if this as been asked before, but in a screenshot you have your Cordials and your Ritual (buffs affecting party members cast by self) hovering over the heads of all affected party members. I can't get my Rv_Mod to accomplish this, is that a bug, a lost function, or does the problem lie between the computer and the chair?

    Hi Azazel, :)

Buffs are very old feature (from alpha version) which is not supported at this moment. I am sorry for confusing you.

ps. Probably I have to remove that screen.

    Hi, :)

Unfortunately not at the moment, but it very easy to implement and make some additional setting in the Modern template.
For quick hack-patch do the following steps:
    1. Find the RVF_Modern.lua file. It should be in the /RVAPI_Frames/Templates/RVF_Modern/ folder.
    2. Open it.
    3. Find the "AnimatedImageStartAnimation(frameName.."GlowAnim", 0, true, false, 0)" line 85
    4. Put the "WindowSetShowing(frameName.."FrameReticle", false)" after that in the line 86
    5. Save
    6. DO /reloadui
