  • About TextHUD

This addon provides text entries for several default UI elements:

-current and max hit points
-current and max action points
-friendly target
-hostile target
-XP info
-RR info
-money

You can also hide most default UI elements by running:
/script TextHUD.HideDefaultUI()

Above is for running this in mod and keybind heavy environment with minimalistic mods like CustomMap and Squared which is the original intent. However will perform just fine in any setup as all elements are hideable/moveable/resizeable as usuall.

In case you encouter any misbehavior, try hitting ESC, that refreshes updates and resolves most issues (like wrong color etc).

Options through slash commands

Initially based upon Aiiane's ActionPoints.

  • Would it be possible to grow the text the lower you got on AP/HP? Also, fading when not in combat/full health-ap would be great.

  • I'm having a problem, the mod was working fine at first then I messed around and changed my whole UI now the AP Text always says 25, the Total Action Points displays correctly with 250 but I can't figure out how to get the Action Points text to display correctly. Anyone have any ideas?

  • Is there anyway to hide just the default primary and secondary targets like Metahud/Clean Unit Frames does without affecting any other UI element? Those two autohide those, because those are not able to be hidden with the default layout manager. They must be done internally (or whatever).

    Pretty much just singling out these two commands:

    WindowSetShowing("TargetWindow", false)
    WindowSetShowing("FriendlyTargetWindow", false)

    to always be in effect?

    I rather regret installing this addon. I didn't even run the script to hide UI elements and now there are countless things missing from my HUD. A few were just set to 0% opacity, but other little things are just flat out no longer there (mostly text.)

    Is there any way to just wipe the UI to complete, utter defaults?

    This is fantastic. Autofade would be nice and if spell affect icons could show on the player and target windows it would be a complete replacement for the in-game windows. Good job dude.

  • Only beef I have is that it resets position to default after I log off anf back onto the game. Other than that, everything is great (cept the fade thing, but I'm guessing that's coming soon)
