Tome Titan Logo

What is Tome Titan?

This add-on is designed to display data ingame in an easily readable format. It includes sections for Bestiary, Lore/History, Noteworthy Persons, Cultivation information, Lair Locations and Exploration/Pursuits information --with more categories planned on the way!

In short: Tome Titan is to help keep you from having to alt tab.

Most of the information listed has been taken from threads/posts on the WHA forums and various other sources. Please see the in game FAQ/Credits page for detailed information. This add-on wouldn't exist without YOU all out there posting the unlocks you find!

Features!

  • List all known Bestiary, History/Lore, and Noteworthy Persons unlocks.
  • You can toggle hiding completed entries!
  • Easily can be expanded to include any information you want!
  • Native support for popular Bar/Board add-ons!
  • Adds a button to your minimap for easy access -- the button can be hidden via slash commands or moved via layout editor.
  • Constantly updating the Data files for known unlocks, check back often to stay current!
  • In game Change Log section accessed via the Tome Titan "FAQ and Credits" page will keep you up to date on all changes we make in each release.

If there's a feature you'd like to see added, just post a comment, PM one of the authors or post a ticket on the curseforge.com project page!

We hope you enjoy this WAR add-on,
~The Tome Titan Team

To use this add-on

This add-on requires LibSlash.

When you first install this add-on, it will create a TINY box on the far left side of your screen. You can see a screenshot of it here -- I've moved mine over my action bars. You can move yours wherever you want to. Just press Escape to bring up your main menu, Customize Interface, click "Layout Editor...", then click "Start Editing..." - you can now move the box wherever you want it! After you finish moving it by dragging it around. Click "Exit" then "Yes" to save changes.

This little box is called "TTBar" - mousing over it will pop-out a bar with an icon representing every page in TomeTitan. Mouse over any of the icons for a description of the page. Left click to open that page.

Commands:

  • /ttitan help - will list the commands
  • /ttitan - will toggle the main window on/off
  • /ttitan current - will toggle the main window going to your current zone
  • /ttitan showcompleted - will toggle showing completed entries, by default completed entries are hidden
  • /ttitan button - will toggle the button showing on/off

Macros

To add a macro for easy access to Tome Titan, open the Main Menu, select Macros, and use this as your macro text:

/script TTitan.UI.ToggleShowing()

You can also make a macro for going to the current zone:

/script TTitan.UI.ExpandCurrentZone(); TTitan.UI.Show()

Having any problems with the add-on?

Entries that you've completed not checking off correctly? Yes, it's a known bug, it's due to the ToK being finicky ;) If an entry is misspelled, or incorrectly punctuated, it won't check-off correctly. You can help us nail these bugs! It's simple. Look at the entry that's bugged, and go to your ToK for that entry. Go here and post the incorrect entry in the add-on, and the correct entry from the ToK and I'll get the fix in the next release!

Other types of problems? A couple of things to check:

  • Did you use to have BestiaryHelper installed? If so, make sure it's uninstalled/disabled.
  • Try MANUALLY deleting the \TomeTitan directory, and reinstalling. Or just deleting any file that starts with BH or BHelper in the \TomeTitan directory -- thanks to wilcoxon for pointing out this bug, and the fix, to us.
  • Still having problems? Post a comment or ticket and we'll try to help you out ASAP!

Native Bar/Board Support

Tome Titan, will now include native support for the following add-ons:
SNT_BAR
WaaaghBar ShockBar by shockbeta
WaaaghBar continuation by lingy
WarBoard

If you were using any of the old stand alone Tome Titan modules for SNT_BAR or WaaaghBar please uninstall them. (If not, it will auto-disable them anyway.)

The "Tome Titan Team"

These are the people that make this add-on happen:
Aenathel -- Main Coder, Data Updates
Oscarr -- Bar/Board Support, TTBar. Bestiary, Pursuits, Explorations, Lair Locations Data Updates and minor coding.
SquigyStardust / Sedsigafew -- Changed my character in game so I may as well change this as well. Most Updates from now on will be done by me.

Change Logs

The detailed logs for what Unlocks have the changed (the whole list) will be availible at Here. Search for Tome Titan to see the changes for the updates starting from v2.2!

See the ingame Credits section for more information.

I noticed 2.3.4 doesn't have either the ttitan.mod or ttitan.lua files in it. 2.3.3 had both and my understanding is all mods need these to function.

I've installed it, but it says dependancy failed when i try to activate it.

installed 2.3.4 and it did not work.
installed 2.3.3 and it worked fine.

The internat file layouts of the two zip files are markedly differnet. I suspect the 2.3.4 version is missing some things.

The 2.3.4 is only the data.

Download both version 2.3.3 and 2.3.4, then copy all the lua files from 2.3.4 into your TomeTitan\Data folder in 2.3.3 and you have the newest version.

And that makes the curse installer go crazy, as it says that tome titan is installed, but you won't see it in game, because it's only the data files.
Please fix it for us Curse installer users :)

  • Since the updates here, I will be monitoring the comments section more often. I would still recommend you post a ticket but posting them here will also do.

Version 2.3.4 will not load into Warhammer for me. And no matter which link I click on for a previous version I get 2.3.4 :p
I'm using Curse client v3. It's in Curse, but doesn't transfer into Warhammer at all. It does not show up in the list of addons/mods in Warhammer.

    Squigy,
I just did a page by page review of the latest Tome Titan against my Tome of Knowledge and submitted a bunch of tickets for discrepancies I found.

Thanks for keeping this up to date! I hope to one day have everything in the addon marked as (Done)!

I just thought I would post a few bugs.

Mount Gunbad: "Feeding Time" should be "Feeding Time..."
Mount Bloodhorn: "Fiery Tales" should be "A Tale by the Fire"

    History & Lore
Black Crag: "Shine Trinkets" should be "Shiny Trinkets"
Talabecland: "Talabecland Thunder Water" should be "Talabecland Thunder-Water"

    Noteworthy Persons
Black Fire Pass: "Gamira Odinatdotr" should be "Gamira Odinadotr"

Altdorf" "Phoenix King Finubar" should be "Pheonix King Finubar"

    Exploration Achievements
Gettin' Slopped: "Gettin' Slopped" should be "Getting' Slopped" (the header should not have a g the task should)

  • Feeding Time in the addon has the "..." behind it, without spaces.

The rest worked out fine. Thanks for your contribution. Also could you provide information for parts 2,3 of Da Bigga Un'? I would assume you have them seeing as you have their titles.

    Thanks Again,

Just checked the fixes on the comments above, that I have access to (except the people, cuz I'm Destro):

Feeding Time in the addon does not have the "..." behind it, still doesn't mark as complete.

A Tale by the Fire is listed in the wrong zone, and when you changed the name you didn't add in the "the". Currently says "A Tale By Fire" in the addon and "A Tale by the Fire" in ToK.

Gettin' Slopped: "Getting' Slopped" should be "Getting' Sloped" (the task only has one "p" in it.

The Mourkain Treasure tasks need the "Part 1" and "Part 2" removed from their titles.

I haven't done Da Bigga 'Un, but I assume it needs "Part 1/2/3" removed from it's titles also.

Clarification: The Feeding Time referenced above is the one under squigs, not the one under Vulture. Both are named identically in the ToK

    Squigy,
Would it be possible to add a tab that organizes all of the unlocks by Tactic? So I could, for example, click on "Man Tactic" and see what the remaining unlocks for it are?

Otherwise, awesome addon, and I'm always looking forward to the next update!

Is it possible to add on exactly how to get certain titles.

Like I hear there is a title for exploring everywhere in the world, would it be possible to make a checklist of where you've been and where you have yet to be?

This is a really fantastic addon, I'm enjoying it immensely!

Where I can send new discoveries to? For instance, the Norsca/Nordland zone changes have rendered it (apparently) impossible to get certain History unlocks ( :( ), but I've also found at least one Order unlock that can be completed by Chaos that isn't listed (Corruption from Within - from walking into the middle of Faewulf's Rest PQ, roughly 38.5K, 24.5K).

  • Alo another note, I cant seem to find the unlock anywhere in the addon, could you tell me the category that you found it under?

    Thanks

  • I'll change that once I get more updates. Thanks!
