What is Tome Titan?

This add-on is designed to display data ingame in an easily readable format. It includes sections for Bestiary, Lore/History, Noteworthy Persons, Cultivation information, Lair Locations and Exploration/Pursuits information --with more categories planned on the way!

In short: Tome Titan is to help keep you from having to alt tab.

Most of the information listed has been taken from threads/posts on the WHA forums and various other sources. Please see the in game FAQ/Credits page for detailed information. This add-on wouldn't exist without YOU all out there posting the unlocks you find!

Features!

  • List all known Bestiary, History/Lore, and Noteworthy Persons unlocks.
  • You can toggle hiding completed entries!
  • Easily can be expanded to include any information you want!
  • Native support for popular Bar/Board add-ons!
  • Adds a button to your minimap for easy access -- the button can be hidden via slash commands or moved via layout editor.
  • Constantly updating the Data files for known unlocks, check back often to stay current!
  • In game Change Log section accessed via the Tome Titan "FAQ and Credits" page will keep you up to date on all changes we make in each release.

To use this add-on

This add-on requires LibSlash.

When you first install this add-on, it will create a TINY box on the far left side of your screen. You can see a screenshot of it here -- I've moved mine over my action bars. You can move yours wherever you want to. Just press Escape to bring up your main menu, Customize Interface, click "Layout Editor...", then click "Start Editing..." - you can now move the box wherever you want it! After you finish moving it by dragging it around. Click "Exit" then "Yes" to save changes.

This little box is called "TTBar" - mousing over it will pop-out a bar with an icon representing every page in TomeTitan. Mouse over any of the icons for a description of the page. Left click to open that page.

Commands:

  • /ttitan help - will list the commands
  • /ttitan - will toggle the main window on/off
  • /ttitan current - will toggle the main window going to your current zone
  • /ttitan showcompleted - will toggle showing completed entries, by default completed entries are hidden
  • /ttitan button - will toggle the button showing on/off

Macros

To add a macro for easy access to Tome Titan, open the Main Menu, select Macros, and use this as your macro text: 

/script TTitan.UI.ToggleShowing()

You can also make a macro for going to the current zone: 

/script TTitan.UI.ExpandCurrentZone(); TTitan.UI.Show()

Having any problems with the add-on?

Entries that you've completed not checking off correctly? Yes, it's a known bug, it's due to the ToK being finicky ;) If an entry is misspelled, or incorrectly punctuated, it won't check-off correctly. You can help us nail these bugs! It's simple. Look at the entry that's bugged, and go to your ToK for that entry. Go here and post the incorrect entry in the add-on, and the correct entry from the ToK and I'll get the fix in the next release!

Other types of problems? A couple of things to check:

  • Did you use to have BestiaryHelper installed? If so, make sure it's uninstalled/disabled.
  • Try MANUALLY deleting the \TomeTitan directory, and reinstalling. Or just deleting any file that starts with BH or BHelper in the \TomeTitan directory -- thanks to wilcoxon for pointing out this bug, and the fix, to us.
  • Still having problems? Post a comment or ticket and we'll try to help you out ASAP!

Native Bar/Board Support

Tome Titan, will now include native support for the following add-ons:
SNT_BAR
WaaaghBar ShockBar by shockbeta
WaaaghBar continuation by lingy
WarBoard

If you were using any of the old stand alone Tome Titan modules for SNT_BAR or WaaaghBar please uninstall them. (If not, it will auto-disable them anyway.)

  • Adding mapPins for every unlock.

  • Adding being able to click an entry in TomeTitan to open to the entry in the ToK
  • Adding support for all languages supported by WAR -- gonna need volunteers to translate data!

    I love this addon, it's really useful. But I would like if you could add the 1000 kills for each race and the area where they are easiest to farm.

    How do I change the zone in the main window?

    When I'm standing in Altdorf TT looks up the zone and shows the main window for Empire vs Chaos. But what if I want to look at entries in one of the two other zones, let's say High Elf vs Dark Elf for example? How do I change to the entries without having to fly to a zone there?

    There is a (TTbar) side bar. I don't remember where is goes defaultly, but look at the Screenshots and at the TTbar pic. Look at the top half of the pic.. Thats the bar that you click to expand, and change tome type.

    I use French Client and Time Titan seems to not work (even with /command) despite the fact that it is installed in the directory of WAR (I got also LibSlash library). I used Curse installer for that.

    King_julian : si j ai bien comprit tu n arrive pas a lancer le Tome Titan, alors le bouton TT n est que pour afficher la faq , il faut que tu trouve la barre TT , pour ca va dans l organisation des fenetre de l interface, cherche la fenetre Tome Titan bare, lock et unluck la , elle va etre apres ca entourer de jaune ( selectioner ) la tu pourra la placer ou tu veux , il sufie de passer la sourie dessu apres ;)

    i want know eta of localization ( french for me but i think another people dont good read english wait too for native language ;) )

    suggestion : add a button for all entry (loc), he make a pin / wait point of Map Monster Navigator for example, auto in map game(more mad add a blue area same red area quest for loc not fix ;) ).

    sorry for my english is very very bad , i hope so you have enderstand my mind :)

    Could you please remove the text "Tome Titan" from your File Names for the sake of Curse Client. It makes it much easier to see the version of the addon and adds to the Aesthetic of it. Thanks!

    Hopefully whoever picks this up still tries to add the feature of putting waypoints (mapmonster) on your world map with the click of a button.

    Other than regular updates for entries, that is the feature needed most IMO.

    Example: (These only a example illistrate not real ingame unlocks)
    Giant Tactic.
    - Marsh of Madiness - Take on a Giant.
    - kill 1000 giants
    - Chas Waste - Find something special

    Hey everyone: I quit working on TomeTitan (and quit playing WAR) quite awhile back due to RL reasons, I'm just too busy. I turned the entire project over to Aenathel. I haven't spoken with him in sometime, but I assume he's also gotten very busy with his schooling. I was contacted by a guy from the WHA forums that wants to take over the project and I told him he's more than welcome to, hopefully he can get in touch with Aenathel (The only person that has access to give him full permissions) or with curse.com and he can start updating it.

    I miss WAR and I really miss working on this add on, maybe I can come back to the game sometime in the future. In the meantime, best of luck in all your future WAAAAGH'ing.
