The Victory Points addon shows a numerical representation of victory points.

I have also made a WaaghBar plugin version of this available here.

The code to extract the numbers comes from neuf from here.

Currently, 100 points means you flip the zone, 150 points means the zone is locked.

The core numbers from neuf's method are the percentages of the bar for each realm. I have crudely determined that a realm needs 2/3 of the bar to flip the zone. I did this through examining screenshots along with the values at those times. So I've adjusted the percentages so that 100 points on my plugin means you flip the zone.

If a zone is locked it will say the zone is locked. If a realm has over 100 points, the background will change to that realms color.

I have yet to test this during an actual flipping of a zone, but hopefully someone can give me some feedback.

Please note that VPs do not immediately update. If you take a BFO or Keep and don't see the points change, it's not because of my plugin, it's because they haven't updated on your bar yet. They usually do within a few minutes.

I hope you enjoy the addon, and it makes it easier to tell if you're actually earning VPs.

  • Same problem as Xanthian. Is it wide screen related? At every new zone the destro number moves to the left ontop of the order number. It also touches the order blue icon. It doesn't matter if I lock the window or not. To fix it moving to the right in layout editor doesn't work. When moving to the left the destro number stays at the same position till I move the window enough left and it arrives at its proper position. Then I have to return it to where to placed it which is bottom right corner half over the the bar decoration.

    While it should be:

    local destrVP = round( ThreePartBar.GetRightSidePercent(EA_Window_ZoneControl.ZoneControlData.barID) * 154.56, 0 )

    (wish i could edit a post :\ ) also, the waaghbar mod seems to show -1 of everyone elses mods.. being that when you are in a locked zone, its 149 instead of 150, ooor if people are shouting "95 VP, SO CLOSE!" the mod on my waaghbar shows 94.

  • couple of ideas / requests...

    can you make an option to remove the "victory points" text... not really necessary...

    also can you make it to where theres no greyed square around the points? you can take down opacity but it drops the colors/numbers opacity also...

    There seems to be a slight difference in numbers between this one and the WAAAGH bar one. Me and another person with waagh bar showed 87 but with this stand alone one, it'd show 88.

    This seems to re-occur also.

    Differences in rounding, pretty much - the actual victory point numbers are on a slightly different scale (in which 65 would cap a zone) - but to make it easier to read, both mods rescale the numbers so that 100 is the point at which a zone is captured. It's just a slight difference in the formula they use to rescale it, and how it rounds fractions.

    We flipped zones and fortesses last nite and I can say the mod works very well and is really accurate for zones. City VP's are a bit off but not do to the mod. City vp's work a bit different which we found out this mod is extremely accurate for normal zones. Great work.

    If you go into the map, and zoom out to where you can see the tracker in the bottom right corner, theres a checkbox you can click to have that stay on your UI.
