WarBand Manager is a tool for use with managing group invites.

People in guilds spend so much time it seems looking for groups due to players not being able to pay attention to in game chat due to being occupied with other matters. WarBand Manager helps alleviate that issue by essentially making the operator a group invite bot. Every ten minutes WarBand Manager will broadcast to the guild channel the group currently going on with the password for the group. All anyone has to do is send a tell to the person with just the password in it to automatically receive an invite to the group. Syntax structure is as follows:
/wbm - Brings up a list of commands
/wbm toggle - Turns WarBand Manager on or off
/wbm broadcast - Turns on guild chat broadcasting of group
/wbm pass [PASSWORD] - sets password of the group
/wbm type [Group Type] - Allows you to set a description of the group type for the broadcast
Presently the format of the broadcast is:
/g [Type] group is currently active. Please send me a tell saying '[PASSWORD]' for an invite.
When the group/Warband is full it will cease broadcasting the group information.
Future Features Planned:
-Multiple Warband Grouping: allow multiple warbands to take invites through one person/broadcast by having an inidividual in each warband running the add on, you would message one person and then it would determine which warband the person should be invited to based on size providing a large guild the ability to organize and operate multiple warbands for a single purpose
-Multiple Warband communication through a specified and seperate chat channel
-Warband Auto-splitting: Once a Warband gets full and another person requests an invite the add-on will drop groups 3 and 4 and have them reform their own Warband linking them through grouping and communication function.
Corrected a typo in one of the checks and added filtering so that if you are in a scenario it will not broadcast.
Installation Guide
- Exit "Warhammer Online" completely
- Download the mod you want to install
- Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
- Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
- If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
- Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
- Windows
- Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
- WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
- WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
- Verify your WAR Installation Path
That is where you are running WAR from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
- Move to the Addon folder
- Open your Warhammer Online folder. (default is C:\Program Files\Warhammer Online\)
- Go into the "Interface" folder.
- Go into the "AddOns" folder.
- In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
- The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
- Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
- Start Warhammer Online
Translations
When you download a mod, please be sure that the mod is compatible with your translation of WAR. Some mods only work on the US versions, while some only work on some of the various European versions. These variations are called "Localizations".
