Ratings Buster is an addon for Warhammer: Age of Reckonging which provides extra tooltip information for items which modify your characters statistics.

It does the calculations on items with statistics, working out the parry%, etc. and displaying in a new tooltip.

v0.2 onwards requires LibSlash http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/libslash.aspx to work

  • Yep thats exactly what it is, and one variable = nil check I missed with v0.2.1 (was attacking a fort at same time - my fault).

    I will do more testing - and see if I can find some items that cause errors too - some of the more exotic items with + armour penetration etc before updating to 0.2.2

  • In response to lhawkerl, I re-checked my code and realised I had made some stupid mistakes in v0.2 when adding a new algorithm.
    I have fixed this now (v0.2.1) and uploaded.
    Apologies for those who had any frustration trying to get broken code I wrote at 4am to work.

    Still, no localisation, is something I will be looking into as well as a UI for adding these user-defined algorithms

  • Can you give me more details?
    if you type "/debug" and turn on the debug and hover over an item does any red text appear from this mod?
    I have found another couple of errors (typo and such) in 0.2.1 which I will release later today

  • Updated to version 0.2 for WAR patch 1.3.1
    Also, added basic framework (read: command line for now) for using your own user-defined algorithms (like the WoW PAWN addon) - PLEASE look at the readme.txt in the files for how to use this feature.

  • Nice mod. Anyone out there have know what stat value rating a base of 1 AP or 1 morale regeneration are worth? ie, 1 AP regen on an item is equal to 5 stat points, etc? That info would also be useful when comparing true item values.

  • This is more like the WoW Addon Pawn.
    I have that in mind for a future update - showing/hiding stats you are or are not interested in, and perhaps being able to come up with your own equations as to how "good" this item is for your character and playing style.

    First though, the 1.3 sliding scale changes need to be reverse engineered and implemented, secondary statistics too if they are implemented.

  • Also, just noticed that ranged crit % on an item isn't displaying correctly but rather as:
    ?? (77/X/2/0) ??
    where X is the ranged crit % chance.

  • There's a few of these still, lots for potions (and potions even share what I thought would be unique IDs for different strengths!). As new item stats get introduced and discovered I will update the addon, but I dont want to update it every day, thats too much.

    Error in function call 'LabelSetText': Window RatingToolTip2Title does not exist
    That one is repeated for 3,4,5 too.
    Happens on Init,Reloadui.
