About WarWhisperer

WarWhisperer is a MSN,ICQ, JABBER like Chatclient for Warhammer Online. It's like WIM for World of Warcraft, in fact i used WIM a lot and i try to get WarWhisperer as good as WIM.

Current Version is: 0.15

Functions

WarWhisperer opens itself automatically after you send or receive a whisper.

If you use the default Chatreply key or use the contextmenu to start a whisper it also opens the Gui.

You also can send item and ability links.

Slash Commands

/ww - Opens the WarWhisperer
/ww <user> - Opens the WarWhisperer and opens a Tab to <user>
/ww <user> <msg> - Opens the WarWhisperer and opens a Tab to <user> with <msg> prefilled in the textfield ready to send
/wwconf - Opens the WarWhisperer Configurations Window

Tips and Tricks

• You need libSlash installed
• Use the left mouse key to switch tabs
• Use the right mouse to close a tab.
• To Resize or Scale the Window use the Layouteditor
• There is a history, you can purge the history by clicking on the careericon in the gui
• If you try to send an itemlink make sure you don't have the default chat entrybox open
• You can change the Output filter by right clicking on the textentry box.

Toggle Window via Key

To toggle the mainwindow with a key you could create a new macro with this content:

/script warwhisperer.Toggle()

then move your new macro icon to your actionbar and add a new keybinding.

Special Tabs

There are several special Tabs, this tabs must be enabled in the configuration.
You could open this tabs like normal whisper tabs and reopen them via the "+" Button in the Gui if you closed one.

Glitches

• if you have too many tabs open and you get a new message in a tab you can't see the new message info
• There was a CTD bug, with WAR 1.2, I fixed it in 0.9 but if you still have CTD's take a look at the Chathistory CTD bug page

Planed for the future

• add a option to modify the special tabs (currently only possible by modding ww_default_specialchannels.lua)
