  • About xHUD
  •

xHUD
It was created with the intention to be a fully customizable Heads Up Display. Eventually, you should be able to change everything you can think of - Size, Position, Color, Alignment, Behaviour, Texture etc. of the HP/AP-Bars/Career, Buffs and Text Labels, to meet your own demands.

xHUD features a configuration GUI, which is accessible via the /xhud slash command. In addition, you can drag around the bars, buff anchors and texts in the Layout Editor.
Newest Changes:

  • Fixed some bugs, mostly GUI-wise.
  • Finished colouring. Mostly, careers have different colouring on 0-49%, 50-99%, 100%. Added GUI for it.
  • Removed the hiding xHUD does on normal frames.
  • Fixed Slayer after new patch.

Features:

  • Bars for Player HP, AP, and Target's HP
  • Career Bar that displays how much Grudge, Combustion, WAAAGH, etc. you have, along with displaying your Pet's HP.
  • Configurable Textures, Sizes, Position, Color, Fill direction, Alpha states and more.
  • Option for click-through-ability of Frames.
  • Configurable buff display with the option to only show self inflicted buffs/debuffs.
  • Fully configurable text displays.
  • Career icons for both friendly and enemy target.

ToDo-List /Possible upcoming additions:

  • Buff/Debuff splitting.
  • Inverse filling of the bars.
  • Range fading for both friendly and hostile target.
  • Buff/Debuff highlighting (?).
  • Redo GUI.
  • Anything else you or I might come up with.

Items with * are in progress.

This addon requires LibSlash for slash commands.

  • Anyone else unable to get this to work correctly? I can't get my life to stay visible unless I have something targeted, and I can't find any options to have it always visible.

  • is this still being updated? I have a feature request... that some elements can be placed in the foreground and some in the background. Also to have the texts able to have different alphas.

I have no idea how difficult it is to create or modify addons; but I have a request. I use this mod as well as TargetRing. I was wondering if you could add the ability to turn certain information on or off. For example, I really don't need to have my Influence, Renown, or Experience information displayed in xHud but when I hide the windows in the layout editor, it still shows them in game. Thank you for your time and for a great mod.

  • Since 1.3.1 the alpha of the text boxes seems to match the alpha of the orbs, which is too transparent to see well through the orbs.

hey, i picked up this addon today and love it, one problem with it though

on the section designated for buffs on me, they all show one name, for example, i will have 3 buffs..

    Trained to Kill
    Summon Griffon
    Bolster

for example those 3, whichever one i got first, usually Trained to Kill, they all take its name and description, so instead of showing the above, i get

    Trained to Kill
    Trained to Kill
    Trained to Kill

  • I'll take a look at it. The Buffs and Debuffs are one cluttered piece of code.

Yeah same this mod has great potential and i really like it for rvr but for pve it doesnt display if the mob is normal champ hero lord or anything so you end up running virtualy blind in some instances. If we could still have the original target windows appear but still all the buffs displaying on the xHUD it would be great.

  • Well, to be honest, mine appear just fine. Just check them off Phantom or something. o_o

So is there no way to have my normal target frame appear again? I want that plus the normal buffs under them. Also would be good if we could position the text under the HUD.

I can't find the setting either to have the games original enemy target and friend target windows to be there instead of being hidden.

all the Buff Icons instead of displaying around the hud display in the top left corner is there anyway to fix this issue?

How do I get the other display options that are screenshotted above, such as the Horizontal Layout or the Sanctuary Orbs? Those textures are not in the program options that I can find.

    Reply Report Permalink
  • Oh, the horizontal and vertical bars are the old xHUD. That's from when we didn't have textures in WAR.
Sanctuary is attainable if you work around with the GUI a bit.

So there's no way to get horizontal or vertical bars anymore other than the "fuzzy" ones?

    Hi there,

I've got a small problem with this addon. Everytime the hud appears on my screen by i.e. clicking on my character, I can't press ESC to enter the WAR option menu. I need to do a /reload for it to work again. Any idea how to fix this?

Please tell me how to fix the fact that everytime I log out and log back in at a later time, the colors of my hp bar/ action bar as well as for my friendly and enemy target turn white. I'm getting tired of changing them back..

I really like this HUD, but I'm having one minor problem I can't work out - how on earth do I right-click on someone and bring up their context menu (so I can inspect / ignore / invite / etc)?? The normal target displays get removed by xHUD, which is fine provided I can get this context menu still!

  • Doesn't right clicking on the bar work? There's this stupid issue with not being able to have round windows, aka frames might overlap and cause some bugs. I don't think I can currently fix this issue. Probably you could click on a part of the bar that isn't contained in the window box of the other. Context menus are just fine.

Ah, got it - click-through was enabled, but not checked - had to check and uncheck it again, and voila!
