I'm posting this simply because I could have used it myself after installing the Curse Client v4 alpha… this thing really needs a guide for now, and I haven't seen one, so here's my attempt. I'm not affiliated with anyone in any way; I'm just a user writing from my personal experience. Feedback is welcome. If this helps you, please let me know. If it's useless, please let me know.

(Note: This guide assumes you know how to use your Mac. For instance, I'll tell you to download the Curse Client disk image and install it wherever you like, rather than detailing the steps to double-click the disk image icon, drag the client to a folder on your hard drive, click the disk image, click the File menu, click Eject…)

Open the client and type in your Curse.com login info. If this is the first time you've run it, it may take a few moments to initialize itself, and then you'll see the main window.

If the Games list on the left sidebar is empty, you'll have to add WoW manually: Open the Preferences and click the + button on the bottom. Double-click on the name and set it to whatever you want it to be listed as in the client, then click Set Path and browse to your World of Warcraft folder. Note: Select the WoW folder, NOT the AddOns folder. If it says "Executable is missing," try again. When finished, close the Preferences window.

You should now see a list of any addons you already have installed. If the list is blank even though you know you have addons installed, click Refresh. If nothing happens (as it did for me), restart the Curse Client.

Installing addons with the client from links on the Curse website doesn't work (yet). To install addons, click "Get More Addons" in the toolbar. You'll see a searchable list of every addon available. Use the search bar and the category menu below it, find an addon you like, select it, and click Install/Update. If nothing happens, that means it's working-they haven't (yet) implemented a progress bar or anything. The addon's status (downloading, updating, etc.) is listed under its name, but the status only updates when you select or deselect the addon; if you like watching things download, you can click Install and then rapidly press the up and down keys.

If you have multiple installations of WoW, and you install an addon… post what happens, because I have no idea how that's handled.

Don't forget to clear the search bar and the category when you go back to your installed addons.

To update your installed addons, click Refresh to make sure the client's data is up-to-date, then click "Update All", or select the addons you want to update and click "Install/Update". Beta versions of addons are apparently not supported in the client.

Playing World of Warcraft. I'm using Curse Client v3 as I'm having troubles installing Curse Client v4. I installed Quest Helper via the Curse Client and normally when you go to the character selection page when you first log in, you see a little addonbox that you need to check in order use the addons in game. My problem is that I don't see that box, so I can't check it, therefore I can't use my chosen addon. I looked in the addons folder and saw that Curse Client had put Quest Helper in there just as it was supposed to. Please help? I haven't had a problem like this before.

Just downloaded pitbull(well about 2-3 hours ago and am trying to get it to work ever since) and I've no idea what is that in screenshot and why is it doing that, i wanna disable it, or move the frames but the frames seems locked and only appears in combat, so its probably not focus frame. My first idea was that its portrait, traget, targets target in layout menu, but disabling it didnt help. Maybe i'm doing something wrong. Please help. Atm i'm disabling pitbull cos its just too annoying that in middle of screen theres some friggin frames on which you cant even read anything really.

Presented by KOEI, Samurai Warriors 3 is set to be released on Dec 3rd in Japan for the Wii platform.

First of all, let's have a look at the trailer for this game.

Although touting a new system, Samurai Warrior 3 is still a Hack and Slash game like all its former installments. Someone will talk about its storyline. Yeah, its story is awesome, well designed and based on feudal Japanese history with a liberal helping of fantasy. But there is not too much difference comparing to its former installments. Like the Dynasty Warriors series, they are all well - known as being repetitive button mashers.

The question comes. What make this game so hot on sale? Why do lots of game fans pay so much attention on it? One reason may be some small changes to the beat'em up genre and game feature make it a little different. But in my opinion, the most important reason might be its fancy design of many female appearances. The designers try their best to make character's appearance more different and attractive with each new installment.

Here we go. Take Oichi for example, look at the 3 pictures, have you noticed that in every generation, she looks different and becomes more and more mature?

It seems that when video games first gained popularity in the 1980s, female characters were basically there to serve as eye candy for adolescent boys. Although storyline and gameplay are important, games won't go round well without female characters. They make us feel really delighted to play games.

I'd like to introduce my Top 5 female game characters below.

5. Lara Croft - Tomb Raider

Lara is depicted as an athletic woman of English descent, who has brown eyes and frequently keeps her long brown hair in a plait or ponytail. The character's classic costume is a turquoise sleeveless shirt, light brown shorts, calf-high boots, long white socks, fingerless gloves, a backpack, a utility belt with holsters on either side and two pistols, an outfit appearing in nearly every Tomb Raider game to date. Her early incarnations are a big turn-off to most women, but her most recent appearances prove that she's strong, driven, and intelligent, in addition to being well-endowed. Since her first appearance in the 1996 video game, this hot girl has won Tomb Raider game series many fans.

4. Zoe Castillo - Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

Zoe is just about as true to life as you can get for a game character. She's young and somewhat disillusioned, not knowing what she wants to do with her life. She's recently ended a serious relationship, but still cares deeply enough for the man to get swept into a complex story with tons of twists and turns. Spending time with Zoe is like listening to your best friend telling you a story.

3. Alisa Bosconovitch - Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion

Named as a Russian, Alisa Bosconovitch is an android created by Doctor Boskonovitch able to sprout wing-like jets from her back allowing her to briefly fly at great speed during fights, sprout chainsaws from her arms (this is one of her stances, "Destroy Form"), and remove her head during moves such as one of her grapples, "Head Explosion". (OMG!) She has pink hair and green eyes. This sweet girl and her new combo attack grant Tekken 6 BR with more gameplay.

2. Ada Wong - The Resident Evil Series

Ada Wong is a red-clad, cunning and formidable secret agent of Chinese heritage with a mysterious past, appearing in the Resident Evil series since Resident Evil 2. Not much is known about Ada Wong's past or motives. What is known is that Ada was a corporate spy working for an unnamed competitor of Umbrella, often referred to as the "Organization", that intended to procure all sorts of biological weapons and specimens. She was also a trained assassin, who was proficient with several types of weapons and fighting techniques. Her sexy appearance and mysterious background make this bloody game more interesting.

1. Yuna - Final Fantasy series

Don't let her soft-spoken and gentle demeanor fool you. Yuna has an unshakable sense of duty and purpose that drives her to make personal sacrifices for the good of all. But she's also driven by love, making her one of the most realistic and relatable game characters.

Yuna is so attractive that the fan reaction to her convinced the developers to continue the story of Yuna and other characters with Final Fantasy X-2.

At the end, let's go back to MMOs. I think things are the same with regard to MMORPGs.

For example, Eudemons Online recently issued Halloween and Moon Festival wallpaper. It makes me feel that this f2p MMO is trying its best to attract adolescent boys to play, although it is a fantasy game based on both eastern and western culture.

What's more? You can wait to see the Blade and Soul's female characters' coming figures. Facts speak louder than words.

Though female characters may not be real but man they are sexy, you can't deny that after playing those games. I don't either have posters of them on my wall, or ask my female friends to go to work dressed up as them, but I do enjoy games more if they have a nice looking woman in it. Maybe I'm a little sexist, lol. I sincerely believe that you guys must think alike more or less, that's why a game with well designed female characters sells well, too.

Whether you agree with me or not, or you think some female characters should also be included, please leave a comment. Thank you!

Starting with eighteen mercenaries, the roster of supporting characters has grown to twenty-six, with several new additions planned for the next year. Despite a massive world map in the game that spans most of the globe, Ndoors has consistently added new areas to explore and new battle grounds, like the new Van Gogh dungeon, along with the previously added Mysterious Saloon, Lijiang Women's Village, Ghost Town, Aztec Temple, Silent Detroit, Dallas Lawless District, and Goonzu World. A commitment to player satisfaction and consistent new content have helped Atlantica emerge over the past year as the benchmark for what free-to-play games can offer.

Ndoors will kick off the month of November with a special promotion offering 200% experience for all players and continue the festivities with weekend events, new in-game items, a special Thanksgiving event, a fan art contest, and much more. Not only will players have a chance to earn unprecedented amounts of experience, but they will also be able to discover rare and unique items and celebrate this milestone. Stay tuned to the Atlantica website for details.

The fun thing I have noticed about Curse Client v4 it likes to overwrite my firewall rules to give me the lovely ads, I don't mind the ads myself but what I do mind is an application overwriting my global blocks to give me them. TBH this is more like malware behaviour, if I decide to block IP's I don't think you should make your program bypass them for your own gain. Everytime I run the damn thing I have to add all my rules again.

I would like a dev to add thier thoughts on this behaviour

Before the arrival of Urd's Earthen Stable, Tesla's Black Box was removed in the item mall. But before that,Bunny Costume and Jiangshi Outfit were the first to be removed. Does that mean that they're also going to release a Costume box like Urd's Earthen Stable? What do you think of Urd's Earthen Stable?

Any help would be much appreciated :)
