Divinity Guild has opened its doors! (PST) [RVR] Order Guild

Today I am pleased to announce that the following people have been appointed to their respective positions:

*PvE Lead: DvineHealer
*PvE Assist: Prominus, Wolfcub
*Class Lead: Cassius
*High Elf Lead: Hylar
*Empire Lead: Tayshrenn
*Assistant Recruiter: Fenrisulfrr

We feel that each appointed member will be able to do their duty to the best of their ability.

So, I doff my cap in congratulation and celebration to these new officers!

Another great day, and we're quickly closing in on 300 members!

At about 15-25 applications a day it's all we can do to keep up! Unfortunately we are only taking the best of the best in applications so please be sure to fill it out completely and in detail when applying so we can get a good feel for who you are and the kind of person you'll be. Nothing a perfect science, but we're doing the best we can!

Also, come open beta (which is THIS WEEK!) we will start our next phase of recruiting which will be about 10 times harder to enter Divinity. If you are thinking of joining us, this is THE best time to do it. After this, you will have to group with guildies, get voted on, and go through a much longer process (actual process is still being worked out by the officers, but will be announced in public forum at our site soon).

Hey all,

Effective at open beta (specific date to be announced shortly) we will cease our present application process, and convert it to the following. When this goes live, I will announce it on the public forum.

*HAPPENING SOON*

Step One: Application ��� The applicant interested goes to the application link, and fills it out.

Step Two: Initial pre-screen will happen with the recruiters to see if they have sufficient information to proceed to the next step.

Step Three: If the application is ok, the application will be copied down (minus the email, and age, and anything else not appropriate to go to the general public) to a special members application center with a poll. Members are also allowed to reply to the post as well so they can make comments. Applicants are inducted into the guild as initiates, and are allowed to participate in guild events provided a spot is not needed by a full member. They may also enter our ventrilo system as well.

Step Four: Members are instructed not to vote on the applicant unless they have grouped with them. Members are instructed that if they vote a yes or no, they must follow up with a reply to the post as to why.

Step Five: In order for an applicant to be accepted to the guild (Promoted to member), there must be five positive posts for the person to join with no more than two negative posts. If the negative posts are deemed strong enough reasons the recruiters have the ability to close all voting and immediately decline the applicant.

Step Six: Applicant will be accepted or declined based off of the voting. Recruiter will change the subject line in the general members forum to ACCEPTED or DECLINED and lock the thread after that. If the application is DECLINED then the applicant is not allowed to re-apply for at least six months. If ACCEPTED applicant is promoted to member, and is welcomed into the family!

If you are looking to join the side of order and Divinity looks to be your calling please know that our present recruiting method is coming to a close and a new much more in-depth one will go into effect at the beginning of beta.

If you check out our public forum, the new procedure is posted, and it will be announce officially there when we convert over to that system officially.

If you are looking to join our powerful ranks, this is some of the last times you'll get a chance in our present system. We have 100's and 100's of mature team-oriented players that are ready to take the battlefield!

Divinity has decided to change to a core ruleset with the new information that has come accross to us about what rules will be in place in the open servers.

This is a major decision, but it is justified. We are an open-RvR guild, and if the rules do change before release we could be reverting back to them, but as of now we are going to be finding a core server to call home.
