Im an old wow player and one thing they did good was the feeling in pvp. If i hit a spell the gfx and motion is correct and wounder if Aion is as precisely? I love the game already

but did not get my key untill today, so could only lv to lv 5 before server stop.

Anyone that have done some pvp and can say pro / cons about the feeling ???

From what i've seen, templars are insane and just run around taking no damage then screw people up in one chain move. Chain moves are awesome especially in pvp, alows for some great gameplay choices. The pvp so far just seems to be free for all however, i would like to see some system like wow where they have arena teams, that would make for some good pvp.

I've done some pvp on aion during the last 3 closed betas.  keep in mind that in beta you are NOT playing the latest and greatest version of the game.

Even in just wow alone, the PvP has changed dramatically for each class several times over through expansions and patches, and Aion isn't even released yet.

This game is almost 4 years old over in Asia, it sucks there and there's nothing new in the U.S. release.

No it's not. It's almost a year released in South-Korea and other asian countries followed after. Also, it's an ever growing game and a complete success over there. Version 1.5 is just released and that is what we will be getting at launch as well.

I have to say "NO it doesnt suck" I`m now shot before level 40 and PvP with the flight mode is really awesome. There are many things wich defenitly do Suck in Aion but not the PvP. It`s 100% different from WoW but that`s the intention If I want a PvP like WoW I rather would go play WoW then Aion.

solariz: well said there! Those are my sentiments exactly, everyone that complains is usually looking for a replacement WoW. Which means really, they just want another WoW game with nothing new/different/interesting about it.

For the people who isn't above lvl 46 yet.

At the moment how i feel about Aion is really a WoW killer for me. Duo of the hard grinding for a epic item in a instance. But now a lot of people who are spoiled by WoW are reqeusting to put the drop chance to 10% or higher because they want a epic item to so they can start pewpew people in the abyss or in a riff. If they don't want it to be like WoW they need to adjust some instance where you can get 1 epic a week what first where in WoW [ after the beta / release of WoW ].But stil i'm not going to compare WoW with Aion. Aion is a asian game where they don't have to be like WoW.

Okay, back to the topic:

The pvp in aion is diverent then WoW. No need for Battleground because the Abyss is a Battleground, You also got Fortress Siege where guild who are organised to take over a Fortress or Defend it against the oppised Race. If you want a group pvp i can compare it with a Dredgion battle. Where you need to get a lot of points and you need to watch you're back because the oppised Race will kill you i've you get to the same spot. At the moment most of the time it's a big battleground where 6 vs 6 player pvp and sometimes they play smart and send 2 guys to kill surkana where you get 800~1000 points. After each won battle you get 6k abyss points plus you have a qeust that give you plenty of abyss point so you can get better pvp gear.

Fortress Siege's isn't a really interesting to talk about if you want a 1 on 1 or group vs group pvp, because it's a massive gank fest if you don't have enough people or don't have a tactic to destroy the other race army.
