Firewall / Proxy Error

Hi,

WoW released new content patch and of course add-ons are out of date. I loaded my curse client as normal and when it pops ups I get the normal login screen. At the bottom of the screen it shows loading latest client and sticks there, so I press login and I get an error at the bottom. I get Unable to establish connection to server, Please check your internet connection & proxy/firewall settings. I use zone alarm which in the past has never had any issues with the curse client, but I disabled it anyway and tried again. Recieved same error. No other firewalls are on and as I understand the client use port 80 which is the same port as browsers use. Which this post would prove Im not having an issue with browsers. So I deleted my curse client from my pc, did a new download and still same issue.

Just had the client ready and completely turned off my trend micro virus protection and it worked. Immediately turned back on virus protection

I have the same problem ,

instead of showing downloading it stacks in retieving.. and in the logs it shows conection failed.

I switched off the firewall and the Antivirus but no changes , it doesn't work.

I would be happy for help

Please upgrade to v4 of the Client.
